Work + Life balance can mean different things to different people. To me it means that I have the opportunity to work on my career and the time to spend with my family. Some days can look like this, but most of them I try to be present whether I am “at home” or “at work”.

The Birth of KPJ DIGITAL

It was April 2020, I was pregnant with my twins at the beginning of the global pandemic where there were just so many unknowns. My oldest son was 4 and he was elearning, which meant I was elearning. I realized pretty quickly that I had to make a decision for our family.

After maternity leave, I decided to resign from my full time position and become an independent marketing consultant. I’ve been working independently now for over a year and it just feels right. I get to be creative doing the work I love, catch all the after school stories, and chase my twins for kisses when I have breaks.

A Labor of Love

My approach to building my brand is to be my most authentic self. No filters, no compromises.

Developing my brand, designing my logo, and positioning myself have all been a part of the process. So my logo is my own handwriting, the photos are glimpses of me in my element, and the writing and design is all my own.

Some may say that I narrowed my potential client pool by being so mom forward. While I understand that perspective, my hope is that my clients respect my position and give me the opportunity to deliver high quality work and a great client experience.

Nurturing KPJ DIGITAL

So how do I keep doing this?

As a full stack marketer, I am able to provide end to end services from strategy to execution, allowing my clients to hand-off a project with confidence. With a focus on high quality service, speed and output, my goal is to provide immediate value to your team and your business.

The biggest compliment I’ve received in my professional career was that I am able to take something and just make it better. With whatever it is – an idea, a theme, a campaign, an event or even a brand – if I can continue to live up to these words then I’ll be doing something right.
